1975.03Samchung Co. Ltd. began filter paper import and sales – CEO Chung, Si Kyun
1976. 08Filter paper factory completed in Cheongpyeong, Gyeonggi-do
1977. 09Technical cooperation agreement with Azumi Filter Paper Co., Japan (5 years)

1980's

1980. 12Automobile filter element production began – Began OEM supply to Kia Motors
1983. 07LADO Co., Ltd. established and merged with Samchung Co. Ltd.
1986. 07Factory established and relocated to Banwol Industrial Complex in Ansan
1987. 11K.S. quality certification obtained
1989. 12Gwangju factory completed – began OEM supply to Asea Motors (currently Kia Motors)

1990's

1990. 03Factory relocated to Anyang – dedicated to OEM supply for Kia Service
1996. 02Company name changed to LAFIEN Co., Ltd.
1997. 08Factory constructed in Dongtan-myeon, Hwaseong-si (HQ & Hwaseong Factory)
1998. 12ISO 9002 obtained (U.L.KOREA)

2002. 10Construction investment in P.V.C SOL Factory in Indonesia
2002. 11QS 9000 obtained (U.L.KOREA)
2004. 11LAFIEN VINA established in Vietnam / U$1,000,000 investment
2006. 11ISO/TS 16949 certification obtained (SWISS Certification)
